Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes with Roasted Shallots
I tested the recipe to see if I wanted to these for Thanksgiving dinner. Everyone agreed that they were good, but not great. I will mostly likely make them again, just not for a holiday meal when there's a lot going on in the kitchen already.

Zucchini Patties
These came out good, however, I think I would have enjoyed more seasoning. I used two zucchini as it collapses as it sits so what start as one medium really required two to get the required amount. They only reason I wouldn't try again was that no one else in the family would even try.

Best Marinara
This gets five stars for its ease of preparation and rich taste. I prepared it with tomato puree as my kids don't care for the texture of crushed. I did add two garden tomatoes. (Skipped the tomato paste.) I used fresh herbs from the garden and it was perfect. Will definitely make again and try using as a pizza sauce.
