i'm in my 20's and i have a 7 year old daughter who thinks she's 16. i live with my boyfriend, who is a very picky eater, unless it involves pasta. i hate pasta. my favorite food is cow. desserts. (tarts in particular). i like to go to Las Vegas and get ideas for pretty looking desserts. i come home with so many ideas! i don't really like to eat sweets very much, however, so i inflict them upon all my friends. they don't complain! i don't have any family cooking traditions. i invented the most wonderful tart a couple years ago with chocolate, cheesecake and raspberry preserves in a cookie type crust. people beg me to make them. cake. cake is my bane. it always TASTES wonderful, but i can never make it LOOK good. i follow directions on how to make a layered cake and how to frost them, but sometimes i don't have all the proper tools i need and the cake always ends up looking lopsided and gooey. it's the only thing i don't know how to make look good. i wish i could make them look as wonderful as they taste.
