I really Love cooking, especially desserts & special treats. I catered weddings, parties, etc. for 20+ yrs. Now I work as Secretary/Receptionist which I really enjoy. I don't cater any more because of health reasons but I will do an occasional birthday, anniversary, or wedding cake just to make sure the ole' girl still has it in her!
My favorite things to cook
Cakes, Cookies, Special Desserts, Treats were my specialty but I like to also cook a good healty full meal with lots of vegys. I am now diabetic so I am trying to concoct low sugar desserts and treats not only for me but my five (5) grand kids. Why not De-Sugar them now while they are young! Also like teaching them to cook too.
My cooking triumphs
I always hated cakes that were too dry and not tasty. I didn't like cakes that were too heavy to, so I perfected my own cake recipe. It took several months (and my family being guinea pigs) but I finally was satisfied and started my cake business. My wedding, anniversary, birthday, party, etc. cakes were known for being not only beautiful on the outside but tasted good and moist on the inside.
