About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
Italian food, anything on the grill, and Mexican food.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My step dad learned how to cook Mexican food from his grand mother. I am the biggest cook in my family so I am trying to learn all that I can from him.
My cooking triumphs
I made the best lasagna marinara I have ever made 2 weeks ago. My son, 1 of the pickiest people I have ever met, told me that it was BOMB!!!!!!
My cooking tragedies
My biggest cooking tragedy came about 5 years ago. I tried to sautee fresh tomatoes to make my fettuccine alfredo more colorful. The flavor was not appealing at all. I was thoroughly disappointed. I want to try it again maybe use some sundried tomatoes and dry parsley.

Alfredo Sauce
The only thing that I do differently is garlic. Powder or fresh which ever you prefer. Of course use it to your tastes.
