Foolproof Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2009
This recipe is very easy and delicious! I made the milk chocolate version with chopped walnuts and used closer to 1c. plus topped the fudge with nuts. When topping the fudge, be sure to push your choice of topping into the fudge otherwise it falls off. I also used other reviewers' tips to get the fudge out of the pan. I'm looking forward to trying variations with toffee bits and crushed oreos!

Firecracker Grilled Alaska Salmon

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2009
Great flavor! My second fish recipe and it was very successful! I agree with others, it would be best to let the salmon marinate overnight (I let it marinate about 5 hours). If you don't like spicy, I would definitely recommend reducing the crushed red pepper. A few bites had quite the kick but I enjoyed it! Also I baked the salmon for about 20 minutes, 400 degrees and it turned out great! Thanks!!

Carrot Cake VIII

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2009
This was fantastic!! My family loved this! I left out the coconut because I wasn't sure about coconut in my carrot cake, and also my mom isn't a big fan of coconut. The cake was moist and the icing was great-different than the norm, a nice change! I also baked this in a 13x9 pyrex. Baking time was approximately 50 minutes. It came out perfect!! Definitely recommend this!

Crunchy Oven Fried Tilapia

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2009
This was my first time cooking fish, so I thought I'd stick pretty close to the recipe, but I used fresh oregano instead of basil because I had it on hand. I would definitely play around with different seasonings. I agree with others that this is a good starter recipe. I will definitely try this again though!

Bread Pudding III

Reviewed: May 14, 2009
This bread pudding was delicious! I read some of the reviews, and let it soak about 10-15 minutes before baking and baked it about 10 minutes longer than the recipe said and it came out great. Soooo easy to make!
