Trying to make injera (Ethiopian flat bread) based on a recipe I found on the internet -- I had no luck whatsoever cooking it without it ripping and tearing off my pan! The funny part was that I found out afterwards that our favorite Ethiopian restaurant actually makes a not-very traditional injera, and that we actually don't care for the real thing (which has a strong fermented taste). Maybe it was a good thing I can't make injera and we should keep going to our favorite Ethiopian restaurant (Massawa).
