About this Cook
I'm a house keeper and love to cook when not too tired..Always like a good slow cooker recipe. I like to come home to a good smelling house with dinner ready..
My favorite things to cook
Steaks, casseroles pork chops just to name a few...I like mexican food but havent cooked to much of it..
My favorite family cooking traditions
Brine turkey which I made in Thanksgiving 08... The best turkey I've ever tasted..
My cooking triumphs
The turkey I mentioned above was the best yet...My husband and I BBQ together. I season the meat. He smokes the meat on the pit. Tastes wonderful but its a team effort. Our specialties are Lemon Pepper Chicken and pork ribs and brisket. Melt in your mouth good!!!
My cooking tragedies
Recently did a cabbage and corned beef brisket in the slow cooker. I set the cooker on warm accidently. I came home to a raw brisket which soaked my cabbaage in blood all day. I tried cooking it on low that night. It tasted horrible.I had to take my guest out to dinner that night.Plus it really smelled up the house which wasnt good..:(

Peanut Butter Cocoa No-Bake Cookies
This recipe is great and easy. They turned out perfect the first time with little mess to clean-up. Great flavors too..
