My son Matthew and I at his Grandpa's place
About this Cook
I am happily married with a handsome baby boy. I am also a nurse/caregiver and I love it. I love cooking for my family. The more I cook for my family the more I feel closer to them.
My favorite things to cook
Baked Chicken, (which is my signature dish), Stir Fry Chicken, Fried Chicken, BBQ Baked Chicken, Chicken Enchilladas, Chicken Wraps, Chicken Sandwiches, Chicken Salads, Chili, Steak, Fried Rice, Pot Roast, whatever my man loves I make.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I can't remember any so I came up with mine.
My cooking triumphs
I can't remember any.
My cooking tragedies
I made Peanut Butter Cookies one time and I accidentally added 1 cup of salt instead of 1 cup of sugar and 1 tsp. of sugar instead of 1 tsp. salt. All because my sisters switched everything around on me.

Michigan Chicken Salad
This sounds really good. My husband and I have had chicken salad's before but not like this. Sounds great and can't wait to make it some time. GO BIG BLUE!!!

Alison's Slow Cooker Vegetable Beef Soup
This recipe sounds really good with a fresh, hot pan of cornbread with a touch of honey mixed into the batter to give it that touch of sweetness in every bite.
