Me and My Sister Cooking Meatballs!
About this Cook
I am in my early twenties and love to cook- and I think I'm pretty good! I'm still learning though... Not many of my friends actually cook-I think it's my generation. They think cooking is making mashed potatoes from powder in a bag... I love vegetables and fresh tasting food! I am also a vegetarian and try avoiding animal products. I don't like anything from a can (meat in a can for two years-how unnatural is that?!) I think anything that you make yourself just tastes better! :)
My favorite things to cook
I make a lot of pastas, potatoes, vegetables, stir-frys, casseroles, desserts, i LOVE breakfast food.... Anything with FRESH VEGGIES! Love sweet potatoes, pasta with white wine sauce, and pumpkin ANYTHING!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom makes really good pasta, meatballs, spaghetti sauce,... my fam also has really good desserts.
My cooking triumphs
Tiramisu on my first try! (not perfect buy hey!) I am also pretty good at complicated pasta sauces. I also make reeally good stuffing, deviled eggs, guacamole....
My cooking tragedies
The first time I learned that you need to cook things slowly on low heat...

Asiago Toasted Cheese Puffs
SO Good and so easy! My friend also recommended substituting some of the mayo for ranch (just maybe a fifth) which tasted good. If you don't feel like spending a lot of money, you can use parmesan or mozzarella. Made as is, it's still really good though. Thanks! (I wonder what it would taste like with a few bread crumbs...)

Pasta Primavera
I love this recipe! It's so easy and as long as I remember to pick up some Knorr's vegetable soup mix, I always have the ingredients! I like to add a lot of peas and my boyfriend likes grilled chicken. I think some asparagus or broccoli might also be good. Thanks for a great recipe! I make it all the time!!

Portobello Mushroom Ravioli with Prawns
OMG SO GOOD!! I think this was the best meal I ever made. I added a little flour to thicken the sauce along with tomatoes. I left out the prawns and shrimp because I don't eat meat, but I think this would be great to marinade a chicken breast in for my boyfriend though...thoughts? Thanks so much for the amazing recipe!
