About this Cook
Aw I just love all animals, and all food!
My favorite things to cook
I love baking anything, cookies, cakes, casseroles....& I bake on the grill. I consider myself an expert on the grill considering my oven has been broken for a year...lol I can't not have cookies and cakes and all the goodies can I?!?!??! So I have learned the art of gauging temperatures on the gas grill.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love the schmorgasborg! ok, ok it's spelled completely wrong but those of you from the midwest you know what I'm talking about. Everyone in the family has a specialty dish that they are great at and the family loves, so we bring them ALL!
My cooking triumphs
I excell at macaroni and cheese, fried chicken, and lasagna!
My cooking tragedies
Hollandaise sauce dammit I LOVE that stuff!!! lol

Venison Stroganoff
I received a rear roast of venison a family friend brought down in Wis. I made this recipe because I LOVE stroganoff & I had a surplus of cream of mush. soup & portabella shrooms Y-U-U-U-M. The ONLY difference is I did not drain the broth made from browning...I used fresh minced garlic and yummy vidalia onion. THANK YOU! I got rave reviews from my boyfriend and his friend! I will definately be using this recipe again and again!

Grandma's Sloppy Joes
Man this was quick and easy! I tweaked this OF COURSE...lol but only added two baby bella mushrooms and a teaspoon of garlic (minced) I am waiting for my boyfriend to get home from work to try this but I don't know if I can wait though, it's so dang good!

Corn and Potato Chowder
I tweaked this recipe as well, I used 1 3/4 qt water, 1 can of cream of celery soup and filled the can with 1/2 & 1/2 used 2 tbsp four and 1/2 cup water, added minced garlic and a dash if Greek seasoning with a dash of celery salt and used frozen corn instead of canned...whew..lol My boyfriend gave it 4 stars and so did I thank you for the recipe!
