Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread
This is a fabulous recipe! I made it with fresh pumpkin and it was very tasty. It freezes well too, just in case you can't eat the whole batch at once.

Fruit Dip II
I have to say that I found this very bland. I had it with a platter of pineapple, strawberries and cantelope at my last party and it did not go well at all. I even tried putting other flavors in to make it tastier. I threw out the almost the entire batch after the party. Very disappointing.

Butternut and Apple Harvest Soup
My hubby and I truly enjoyed this recipe. I made it with what I had on hand and it turned out excellent. I used a really large acorn squash in lieu of the butternut and a Fuji apple instead of the Granny Smith. It was very flavorful. I added a bit of ground black pepper, white pepper, and red cayenne for more flavor. I didn't add the cream or the wine. I used an immersion blender and it turned out very creamy and hearty.
