Me and the man I cook for! ;)
About this Cook
I'm 24 years old. I'm not married...yet. I can't wait to be married and cook for my husband and family. I cook for my boyfriend, my friends, my family, as often as I can. I've recently delved into desserts, and love to make family favorites the true homecooked way. I love being in the kitchen!
My favorite things to cook
To cook, mostly pasta dishes cause I'm most comfortable, plus this chicken dish I make now kind of inspired from something I had in a restaurant. As far as desserts, I love making up new trifle ideas!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I always have and still do sleepover my grandmother's house every year the night before thanksgiving, wake up early with her and stuff the turkey. We cook the traditional Italian seafood for Christmas Eve and now I'm more a part of that since they started allowing me in the kitchen! :)
My cooking triumphs
This would have to be two times: A friend and I, without recipe, made a completely homemade lasagna. The other time was following a recipe from this website and I made linguini with clams/bacon sauce for my boyfriend and another couple, no calls to mom, and it was amazing. Everyone loved it!
My cooking tragedies
One time while making a trifle, my first time, the cool whip was still hard from the freezer section at the store and would not spread. And many times while making my first few sauces, I had BIG trouble with seasoning!

Tilapia Asparagus Bundles With White Wine Sauce
Definite potential...sauce was too strong so I didn't use it..so in fear of dry fish, I opened the oven, took out the pan of fish and asparagus and added a little olive oil, some garlic powder and a little more salt/pepper...and topped off with fresh greated parmasean cheese. put back in the oven and it came out great! Really filling!!
