I learned to cook the old fashioned way...trial and error. In our house we have the "do it again" question every time I make something new. I always ask if this is something we should do again to figure out if my family really likes something. I love Christmas baking with my girls! My favorite time in the kitchen is with them!! I also like to do Italian food for my husband. Christmas morning I always make sausage gravy and biscuits. Christmas baking is definitely a tradition. We also do alot of family B.B.Q.s. Learning how to grill salmon without drying it out!! I once made a cake from scratch that didn't rise and tasted like sandpaper!!!
