Amish White Bread
I have been trying to make the perfect bread for 10 yrs. My cupboard was bare and I was broke and needed something to do on a rainy day with limited ingredients, and I stumbled onto this. Its just my husband and me so I halved the recipe. It came out better than ANYTHING that I had ever bought, been given. Now I am making it everyday, cause I will not by store bread ever again if I can help it. I don't know if its because of the new way I knead it, stretching instead of just rolling. but its the best. the Amish know their stuff
