Usually the first time I make a recipe I stick to the original. But this time it seemed too simple so I decided to try this recipe using the advice of others. I added refried beans with chiles to the first layer and then went I also added black olives to the top layer before it went in the oven. The fresh lettuce and tomato was a great idea. Next time, I will add cream cheese to the bottom layer instead of refried beans. And I will add corn and black beans. Both my husband and I loved it and it will be in the rotation. Only 4 stars because I deviated from the original recipe.

Chocolate Mint Dessert Brownies

My new favorite dessert! I only gave it four stars because I couldn't figure out how to get the chocolate to spread on top of the mint layer. I ended up having to mix them and making it look a little marbled. But other than that, they were awesome!

Almost Caramel de Lite Bars

These were so super rich! I'm a sweet lover and could only handle a small bar. Make sure you have plenty of milk when serving these. I also want to stress that you have to make sure that these bars are cool before you cut them. Otherwise, you get a soupy mess which was still yummy, but presentation was lost. They looked so good and I got impatient.

Dog Food Dip

Really good dip! My only mistake was not listening to previous reviews. I served it with regular tortilla chips. The chips could not handle the thickness of the dip and kept breaking. I will try the fritos scoops for the next time.

Sweet and Sour Meatballs III

I was very surprised at how delicious these were. The ingredient list was sounds horrible, but the finished product is wonderful. They went really fast at the party and everyone went back for more.

PHILADELPHIA Tuscan Dip

I thought this was very good. It was very easy and had a unique flavor. My only complaint was that it was very thick even after I added extra sour cream. Next time I will use this as a bagel spread instead of a dip.

Bacon Cheddar Deviled Eggs

The best darn deviled eggs I've ever eaten! I wish I had found this recipe sooner. I will be making this for all of my spring/summer get togethers. Everyone loved them and I wouldn't do anything different with this recipe.

Broccoli Fish Bake

Very very good. I did follow other suggestions and added more broccoli. And because I love cheese, I added a full cup of cheddar. This is a keeper and i will be making it often.

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Muffins
