About this Cook
I am a 23 year old stay at home mom on a diet. LOL. I have an unstoppable urge to back everything while I am on a diet so everyone around me ends up getting loads of food. I like to cook things with my son. He is the greatest. He is 2, and loves to work with me in the kitchen. I love it. I love to cook. I have been cooking since I was 4 with my grandma, so I guess it's just going to run through the family with my son.
My favorite things to cook
I am allergic to beef and seafood, so I am always looking for different ways to make chicken or vegetable dishes. I love food, I love to make it, small it, taste it and share it. So pretty much all food is my favorite to cook.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I always cooked with my grandmother. My first memory of it is when I was 4 and I was standing at the stove stirring some green beans. I think that I want to start my son in the tradition of cooking from a young age like my grandmother did with me.
My cooking triumphs
Cake. I love to make cakes for friends. The one I am always asked to make is a 3 layer, triple chocolate rum cake, with chocolate folds in the icing and drizzled with white chocolate and raspberries. YUMMM!!!!!
My cooking tragedies
Anything that has to do with meatloaf!

Crazy Crust Pizza Dough
I have to admit that it did stick, but it was quick and easy and tasted great. A word of advice... greese and floor your pan and don't use a sause. The sause will be asorbed by the dough and then the dough will be doughy. Just put your tiopping directly onto the dough and it will turn out perfect. Great for people who like the thin crispy crust. I have made several pizzas using this recipe now and love it.

Whipped Cream Frosting
I have to say that this is the only icing I will make from now on. I was a little skeptical because of the reviews I read, but I followed the recipe and directions to the t, and it turned out amazing. I let the flour mixture cool in the refrigerator until it was cold, and beet it in really well. I whipped it longer than I would normally because everyone said it was really grainy. Mine wasn't, and it wasn't buttery either. It was perfection!

Easy Sugar Cookies
I absolutely love these cookies. They are easy to make and taste AMAZING! They are so soft and chewy. I found the dough a little sticky, so I ended up putting it into a bag and piping the dough onto the cookie sheet, but other than that, I love these cookies!
