Caroline's Chocolate Fudge Frosting

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2009
Thanks to recipe submitters and Thanks to all previous reviewers, especially msf27 that suggested 1 lb sugar is 4 cups...anyhow, I only added 1/2 cup milk but did add 4 oz of chocolate instead of three. Yes it was more sweet than chocoloatey, but it was Very Good! Still 5 star from this chocolate lover!! Easy to make too!

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
The reviewers before me already know this is a great recipe! I even overcooked it a little but it turned out fabulous... also I didn't have buttermilk so I did the milk and vinegar thing, but this is truely a good recipe!

Delicious Black Bean Burritos

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2009
This isn't 100% accurate, as I was missing some ingredients and I had some steak that I sauteed in oil and taco seasoning, but it was a winner either way! Thank You!

Sloppy Joes II

I cheated and used onion powder, mustard powder (didn't drain liquid), garlic powder and capsicum (cayenne pepper powder). It was so good! Thanks for the great recipe!

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Reviewed: May 16, 2009
I've made this twice with the first time being far more tastier, tender, perfect tasting than the second.. What did I do different? It think it was the cut, the first time I used a rib roast with the bones in, and slow cooked it for 12 hours on low. I had used a finely cut apple too instead of the ketchup. THe second time was a cheaper cut of roast I can't recall what type.

Banana Cream Pie I

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2009
I didn't bake mine, so not sure if review is legit.. but it was too runny. I heeded others warnings about lower fat milk, so I mixed my 1% with whipping cream, as I didn't have anything else... it was good, but was more like a pudding than a pie. I used cornstarch not flour. It was my first ever attempt though, may retry in future as the pudding was delicious!

These cookies are amazing!!! I loved them and my coworkers couldn't get enough of them!! Caution: The fondant gets stiff, it bent my mixmaster beater (the wiry kind).

Zucchini Souffle

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2008
I thought this was okay, it was too bland for my fiance though, but I am just starting to experiment with zucchini, so maybe we're still getting used to it. Easy to make. Come to think of it as a side with a spicy beef roast, it would be a good accessory.

This is a fabulous recipe, I have never been able to cook shrimp well, and had all but decided to leave it to the chefs in the restaurants. But this recipe is amazing! Thank - You!
