I love to try new recipes and can't think of many things I wouldn't try at least once. I have a son (23), a step-son (23, a daughter (13) and a wonderful husband, Darrel. They let me know right away if a new recipe is a "KEEPER". I like to try just about anything! I love seafood dishes. My husband shrimps so I always have an abundance of delicious wild caught SC shrimp! I like to bake, cakes, pies, sweets in general. I love to find new creative soups and pasta dishes. The first thing that comes to mind is our families oyster dressing, it wouldn't be Thanksgiving without it!! My son and daughter like making my Macho Nachos. My sister in law is the pastry queen and makes the most awesome deep dish apple pie that the entire family looks forward to. My sinful Shrimp Mornay!!!MMMM!!! My Lemon Sunshine Cheesecake!! My Steak Au Poivre (My family insist I make it on vacations for 14 PEOPLE!!!) Creme brulee I used a metal pan for my water bath, OOPS it never set up!!Live and learn!! Helping a friend make pineapple cookies! She was reading off the ingredients as I was mixing them. What she said was a can of pineapple I later found out was a CUP!! She thought C stood for can! lol
