Mushroom and Swiss Chicken

I didn't expect much, but this was an excellent meal. I made a couple of changes based on what I had in the house. I added 2 cups sliced mushrooms & 1/2 cup heavy cream and used cream of mushroom soup. I also eliminated the bread crumbs. Great base recipe

Penne with Spicy Vodka Tomato Cream Sauce

Best thing I've ever made. I used this recipes as a base. I actually had leftover ham to use. So, I just eliminated the oil and put the ham in to simmer with the other ingredients. I also used egg noodles (works better with a thick sauce ) and folded in a couple handfuls of babyspinach at the end (just tossed until wilted) Excellent

My Kid's Favorite Pork Chops

Taste was a 3.5, ease was a 10. The sauce was a bit much, but that was more my taste. (not a big fan of barbeque sauce) This was a great time saver and will definitely be used again. It is a great alternative for pork.

Sirloin Tips and Mushrooms

Best recipe I've found on here. Loved it, but I did make a few changes. I used fresh mushrooms (saute first) and added 1 diced tomato, italian seasoning, oregano and a handful of chopped onion. I added the onion with the garlic. Wonderful! I served it over mashed potatoes. I highly suggest this. My husband asked to have it added to the regular rotation, which is a huge compliment. I think it has only happened twice before.

Sausage Jalapeno Poppers

Great recipe - but wear gloves! My hands have been burning for the past few hours. They hurt. WEAR GLOVES! As for the recipe, I prefer a little less sausage and a little more cream cheese.

Spinach Dip with Water Chestnuts

Wonderful - I don't use the chestnuts, but otherwise follow the recipe exactly. It is always a hit. Can't say enough about what a phenomenal quick recipe this is. I usually serve it with rosemary triscuits.

Scalloped Potatoes and Ham

Excellent - with a couple revisions. I just sliced 2 large potatoes instead of the packaged and added onion and celery. My husband ate more than I've ever seen him eat before.
