I am a veteran of the U.S. Army. I was stationed in Virginia where I met my husband Daniel. He's currently in Iraq so the majority of the recipes I get from this site are tested and approved through him.
My favorite things to cook
I'm mexican so any food close to home is always on my stove. I love making fajitas and tostadas. Easy things since I have an infant. I don't have as much time to stand over the stove.

My cooking triumphs
COOKIES! I just learned the secret to a successful cooking and its the butter! It has to be soft but not mushy. It really DOES make a difference... which is sad because that means I could've had better cookies a long time ago.
My cooking tragedies
HAHAHA Pumpkin pie and empanadas! I'm not too handy with pie crust... I'll leave that for my mother LOL
