I love the family recipes that I grew up on, but I also enjoy finding new recipes, either online or while traveling. I enjoy making dinner for my family, and also baking for parties, my friends and bake sales. Pie and cookies, I also like to make soup, curries and stir-fries. Cooking with my Aunt Phyllis on family vacations, or cooking and baking with my mom. Sometimes we have homemade pizza on Christmas Eve. My mom and I roll out the dough into individual-sized pieces, and everyone adds their favorite toppings. I am learning more and more about making a good pie crust, and my results have been improving. Also, learning to make an Indian curry without a recipe. Anything involving a candy thermometer! :P
