Every since I met my husband, my favorite things to cook would have to be Mexican food. His mother is showing me the basics, and I am getting GOOD! I also make lots of soul food. Collard greens, neck bones and hot water cornbread is a favorite in my house. My family hails from Mississipi, and my in-laws are from Mexico, So I make a mix of both traditions. Spanish rice....finally after 6 years Tamales. I think it'll take me another 6 years to master this one :)
