About this Cook
I'm a college student. I'm a photography major at UNT. I can't afford to go out to eat every night and i like to create, so I enjoy cooking.. especially easy recipes that i can size down to feed 2 people.
My favorite things to cook
san antonio skillet (keilbasa, stewed tomatoes, dark kidney beans, rice, water, and salsa all thrown into a skillet, cook it on low for 20 min with the lid on and it's done!) Shrimp Tacos, marinated grilled shrimp, chicken enchiladas, anything simple!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My dad is pure Italian. And I grew up in New York. I grew up on black olives, italian sausage, millions of different types of pasta and chicken dishes, eggplant, pizza, antipasta, traditional thanksgiving stuffing with sweet Italian turkey sausage, tricolor cookies.
My cooking triumphs
I haven't had a disaster yet!
My cooking tragedies
nothing too bad (yet). Usually something just comes out too salty or peppery.

Cinnamon Bread I
This is the first bread i've ever made from scratch and it turned out delicious! I followed the advice of other reviews and doubled the amount of topping, and then put half in the middle. I will definitely make this again!
