Quick and Almost-Professional Buttercream Icing

This had good flavor. Maybe I use less frosting than most, but I was able to liberally frost 16 cupcakes and still throw out enough for about 3 more. I'd use this again.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Hands down the best cheesecake I've ever had. I received so many compliments from every single person who tried it. I followed the recipe exactly except was lazy for the crust and purchased a premade oreo crust and just crumbled that in the pan. My cream cheese wasn't even room temperature, and the texture was still fantastic.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

This was OK. To me cheesecake should be decadent and rich, the flavor was a bit bland, especially towards the outside. Maybe it was a bit overdone, but I wasn't too impressed. EDIT: After chilling overnight, it was MUCH better. Not mind blowing good, but still very delicious!

Baked French Toast

I too followed Michelle Mullis' directions. I prepared mine in the early afternoon and just left sit out at room temperature to have breakfast for dinner. I sprinkled a little extra cinnamon and pecans, delicious! A note to remember if you bake with the caramel sauce: put a pan underneath the dish in case of overflow!

Old-Fashioned Vanilla Pudding

This was not sweet enough for me. Some of my cornstarch/sugar/salt mixture scorched on the bottom of the pan (causing me to have to strain the mixture when it was cooked) so perhaps that took away from the sweetness. If I make this again I would add another T of sugar and perhaps a bit more vanilla. Good texture, though.

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

So so so good! I probably ate half a dozen of these in dough alone. The flavors are perfect together. Like other reviewers said these don't spread a lot so if you want a flatter cookie flatten them before popping them in the oven.

Sour Cream Pound Cake

So the flavor of this was excellent. I added 1 tsp of vanilla, but that was my only change. I'm young and tend to only bake in cake pans or with cookie sheets, so while I thought I had an 8X4 loaf pan, I was wrong and halfway through baking I discovered my beautiful cake overflowing inside the oven. So it may seem obvious to some people but this cake rises enough that if your batter fills your pan, the pan is too small!

Easy Sugar Cookies

Fantastic! I halved the recipe since it was only for 2 people, but I'm sure the full batch would have been eaten just as fast! I decided to make these spur of the moment so I nuked the butter for a bit in the microwave and I think the heat helped dissolve the sugar making it oh so delicious. I rolled some of my balls in sugar before baking which was yummy, but the plain ones were just as good. I'm sure they would taste great with frosting if I can ever keep enough plain ones around long enough to make some!

I've made these for years, they're super easy. I usually boil the syrup peanut butter mixture for about 15-30 seconds just to make it easier to mix in with the cereal. There are never any leftovers when I take these to friend's!

Roasted Lemon Herb Chicken

Very delicious. The subtle flavor of the lemon went great with the zestier spices. I used boneless skinless chicken breasts and rubbed the spices on one side and poured the lemon juice/oil over top and baked for 30 minutes. Super easy and delicious!

Zucchini and Potato Bake

These were delicious and so addicting! I also sprinkled some parmesan cheese on mine like many other reviewers. I never stirred during the baking and would guess mine were done in about 45 minutes so make sure you check even if you don't stir when you check. Next time I might try with whole wheat bread crumbs for a heartier healthier flavor, yum!

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

These cookies are so good! When I baked them I couldn't decide how I wanted them topped. I topped some with the glaze stated in the recipe, some with cream cheese frosting, and left some plain. Personally I liked the plain ones best. I added an extra dash of cinnamon to the dough due to personal preference but other than that I followed the recipe to a T. The flavor is distinctly pumpkin but they are so sweet and the spices are great.
