Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Yum! Buttery and sweet. Make sure to stir vigorously after adding the eggs otherwise you might get some cooked eggs in your batter!

Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2009
Fantastic! I halved the recipe since it was only for 2 people, but I'm sure the full batch would have been eaten just as fast! I decided to make these spur of the moment so I nuked the butter for a bit in the microwave and I think the heat helped dissolve the sugar making it oh so delicious. I rolled some of my balls in sugar before baking which was yummy, but the plain ones were just as good. I'm sure they would taste great with frosting if I can ever keep enough plain ones around long enough to make some!

Chai Tea Mix

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2009
Tastes just like $3.00 chai tea lattes from chains. I did not add the plain creamer because I did not have it, but it's still delicious.

Chocolate Scotcheroos

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2009
I've made these for years, they're super easy. I usually boil the syrup peanut butter mixture for about 15-30 seconds just to make it easier to mix in with the cereal. There are never any leftovers when I take these to friend's!

Roasted Lemon Herb Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2009
Very delicious. The subtle flavor of the lemon went great with the zestier spices. I used boneless skinless chicken breasts and rubbed the spices on one side and poured the lemon juice/oil over top and baked for 30 minutes. Super easy and delicious!

Zucchini and Potato Bake

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2009
These were delicious and so addicting! I also sprinkled some parmesan cheese on mine like many other reviewers. I never stirred during the baking and would guess mine were done in about 45 minutes so make sure you check even if you don't stir when you check. Next time I might try with whole wheat bread crumbs for a heartier healthier flavor, yum!

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 16, 2009
These cookies are so good! When I baked them I couldn't decide how I wanted them topped. I topped some with the glaze stated in the recipe, some with cream cheese frosting, and left some plain. Personally I liked the plain ones best. I added an extra dash of cinnamon to the dough due to personal preference but other than that I followed the recipe to a T. The flavor is distinctly pumpkin but they are so sweet and the spices are great.

These are what brownies are supposed to be. Rich, gooey, and fudgy. They will knock any chocolate craving out with just one bite.

Favorite Banana Blueberry Quick Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2009
This had great flavor; like other reviewers I used half brown sugar, half white, and added a dash of vanilla and cinnamon. I had some trouble getting it fully cooked in the middle making for dry ends, but the middle was nice.

Very Chocolate Ice Cream

Reviewed: Jul. 15, 2009
This ice cream was very good, although my ice cream maker went capoots and I had to just stick the cream in my freezer making it a hard icy block. The flavor was great though; I used half and half since it was all I had on hand and the taste reminded me of a chilled brownie, yum!

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2009
I've made these cookies many times and the only change I make is halve the amount of chocolate chips simply because I like more cookie in my chocolate chip cookies. These are great, nice and chewy with a crisp bottom. I've also made them using chocolate pudding and butterscotch chips and those were even better in my opinion.

Kellogg's® Chocolate Scotcheroos

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2009
I have been eating this since I was a little girl, and they are so good! I always make sure I keep some at home before taking them to a potluck or picnic because there are never any leftovers! It's important to cook the sugar and syrup just until a boil to make sure they stay nice and soft. I also sometimes add about a teaspoon or two of butter or shortening to the chocolate/butterscotch topping to make it creamier.

Original Nestle® Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies

My mom has been making these my whole life and they are my favorite cookies and definitely the easiest chocolate chip cookies I've ever made. I typically only use half a bag of chocolate chips and they are so good!

Sugar Cookie Frosting

I also used this frosting with "The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies" and it was great. I don't like tons of frosting so I halved the recipe and it was perfect!

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2008
These cookies tasted great BUT I could not get them to roll out. The dough was so sticky, I felt like I was trying to roll out chocolate chip cookie dough. After using a lot of flour I gave up and just shaped them on my own, but I was disappointed to not have fun shapes to decorate.

These are my favorite pancakes ever! I also reduced the salt to 3/4 tsp and added 1 tsp of vanilla. Sometimes as a treat I add chocolate chips and bananas, delicious!
