I'm a 33 year old mother of two girls and one boy. I just got married on June 7th, 2008 to a wonderful man who also loves to cook. I am also starting to teach my children the basics of cooking. I love to cook southern fried foods. Sunday dinner. My children tell me that I make the best fried chicken in the world. That makes me feel so special. When my mother first started to teach me how to cook, she had put pork steak in the broiler below the oven. I think I was around 14 at the time. Her and my dad had to run to the store to get something that we were out of and told me to keep an eye on the food. I forgot about it and went outside. Pretty soon, they pulled back into the driveway, I was still outside. There was smoke coming out of all of the windows. Needless to say, the pork steak was a tragedy. It was burnt to a crisp and I got into trouble.
