Clone of a Cinnabon
Oh my goodness--what a treat! My husband honestly did not believe that I had made these from scratch. (He's taking the pan into work so he won't eat them all himself;) ) I did add a teaspoon of vanilla to the dough before making it, and when it came time for the butter and cinnamon filling, I simmered the butter and sugar together so it became more of a paste and did not drain out of the rolls after cooking. I also added some chopped spiced nuts before rolling up. Thank you for a wonderful recipe to work with. I will definitely make these again.....I'm seeing chocolate chips in the next filling, maybe a caramel butterscotch flavor another time :) Blessings!

Sugar 'n' Spice Nuts
Very, very good! I loved that there was no added butter for this recipe. It was quite easy, and I ended up just using premium mixed nuts. I also added a few dashes of cayenne pepper for a small kick. Twenty-two minutes in the oven were all I needed, and the nuts dried quickly in great little clumps. They look simply elegant in a clear glass jar with ribbon at the top. Thank you--these made a lovely gift for coworkers and friends.
