About this Cook
I have a newborn (August 2008) and a three year old so life is busy between those two, my husband and a full time job. I like to workout, spend time with my kiddos, read, take photos (though I am not so great at this!) and enjoy watching TV (I admit it!).
My favorite things to cook
I mostly like to bake but I also like making casseroles just because they are generally easy to make and tasty to eat. I figure when the kids get older I can expand when it comes to cooking!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baking cookies at Christmas, making a huge Thanksgiving dinner for Canadian T-giving and American T-giving as well as a large yummy meal for Christmas. Making recipes from my Granny that I was taught by my mom and dad.
My cooking triumphs
Making Chicken Marsala and learning to make a turkey dinner (scary at first but OH SO easy!)
My cooking tragedies
A chocolate cake that looked like a giant poop on the plate but seriously as ugly as it was it was delicious - I am not a cake baker... I can tell you that right now!

Angela's Easy Breaded Chicken
This recipe is excellent and EASY! I used Neumann's Own Italian dressing. I did not have time to marinade the chicken which I want to try next time but it was just as good dredging it in the dressing as the recipe originally recommends. As others suggested, I bought some fresh Parm and added Italian seasoning & garlic salt to the bread crumbs. I decided to try cooking the chicken at 375 for 30 minutes and it turned out perfectly!
