Taco Pie
My family loved this recipe! I had a few substitutions, as most people do. 1) I only had a pizza crust on hand and won't be doing that again--too dense and chewy for what I was intending. 2) I had a boxed taco dinner and used the seasoning from that with the meat and crushed the hard shell tortillas for the top. Much less salt than using chips, which we prefer in our house. 3) I doubled the meat and added a can of ro-tel tomatoes also, which did add to the texture and flavor. My husband & stepson both had seconds and leftovers were gone in two days!
