I am married and have 3 children. My kids are my life and cooking/baking is my hobby. I love to try new recipes and entertain. I love to make fun things that my kids will enjoy...and recipes to wow my Bunko group. Making cookies and recipes with my kids. My fondest memories from my childhood are helping my mom in the kitchen. I was always amazed at how everything the made was the best I'd ever had. So now that I am a mother I love to let my kids help me in the kitchen. They are always to proud of our creations! The first time I made meatloaf for my husband was a disaster! I was so worried that it wasn't done that I left it in the oven much longer than it needed to be. The outside was so hard, it was tough to get through the exterior to find an edible bite. This experience prompted the purchase of my first meat thermometer!
