I am a junior at The Ohio State University studying human nutrition and education. My career gaol is to become a high school science teacher. I love to cook and wish I had more time to do it! I love eggplant parmasagne its one of my favorite foods. My boyfriend and I also love Mexican... so we have a mexican night each week with different main dishes and homemade salsa and guacamole. I also am a dessert girl... I shine with chocolate, sugar, and flour! My mom teaches high school home ecology, so I have been cooking since I was old enough to hold a spoon. As far as favorite cooking traditions go, I love Christmas time when my mom and I turn the kitchen into a cookie-factory to make gifts for friends and neighbors. I also love my boyfriend and I's weekly "mexican fiesta night" Last year I made 30 dozen truffles over Christmas break, in addition to the various other types of cookies and desserts we make for Christmas! I am ashamed to say, I have caught a pan of onions on fire, and caught my stove on fire when baking a cookie pizza.... whoops!
