I've been married for over 25 years and have a daughter and son. I'm looking forward to someday being a grandma and having someone to "help me" with my baking. Ooey, gooey goodies. My favorite family cooking traditions are my Nana's pie crust which my mother and her sisters have continued (especially with their apricot tarts). Also, my mother's holiday treats. My daughter's favorite are her Beer Nuts. My unique knack for creating new dishes with things I have on hand. The unfortunate thing is that I am not able to accurately replicate the masterpiece! Only twice, have I made something that was unedible. They both used some sort of cereal and was for a BBQ-type dish. I now (with the urging of my family), avoid all recipes from cereal boxes that contain any kind of meat ingredient!
