About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
In the summer: Grilled vegetables, gazpacho, greek salads In the fall/winter: Soups, grilled pannini, casseroles Year round: Simple Indian dishes, anything Mexican. My favorites from allrecipes.com are Coconut Tofu Keema and Peanut Butter Noodles!
My cooking triumphs
I became a vegetarian (lacto-ovo) right after I got married. My goal has always been to cook things so that my husband would never complain about eating meatless meals. (Although I do prepare pork chops and filet for him!) I am happy to say that he loves my cooking (or at least that's what he tells me anyway). allrecipes.com has been a fantastic resource for me and I really value the input from other reviewers.

Chocolate Cakes with Liquid Centers
OK - I'm not sure what happened here because I followed the recipe exactly, but all I got was a goo-ey (although tasty) mess. It seemed like it needed much more flour or a longer cooking time.

Double Tomato Bruschetta
Fantastic! I just served the Bruschetta in a bowl, allowing guests to pile it atop simple crostini, and they loved it.

Dip For The Stars
I made this for a New Year's eve party and my guests thought I was some sort of epicurian goddess! I made 6 individual small tortes out of the recipe using some Pampered Chef prep bowls. I served 3 that evening, brought 1 over to a New Year's Day gathering, gave 1 to a friend, and had one left over at home. This worked much better than one giant torte.
