Grew up as an army dependent and got used to moving. The longest I've ever lived in one place is 7 years. Meal times are one of the times that a family consistently gets together so I feel that it's important to keep them enjoyable. Good healthy meals with lots of variety to keep the family interested. Christmas cookies? Managed to feed my family and have everyone like the meals for 2 weeks over Christmas! Might not sound like much, but my mother is allergic to tomatoes and rice (among other things), my husband is allergic to wheat, my father is diabetic, and I'm on a diet.
