I'm ALL ABOUT FOOD! The only reason I chose wine tasting as a hobby, is - even though I'm absolutely crazy about wine - that baking & cooking was not an option!
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy slow-cooking e.g. Lamb Shanks in red wine & rosemary I enjoy Italian - good quality pasta without the heavy sauces. Give me olive oil, garlic and chilli and I'm happy! I love spicy foods so Chilli Con Carne, hot curries and Thai-inspired stir-fries are amongst my favourites to cook. Prawns and loads of it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother is an excellent cook. She makes the most divine beef pie in shortcrust pastry, superb baked chicken, the BEST roast potatoes. She even makes cabbage taste good.
My cooking triumphs
Lamb Shanks in red wine & rosemary. Linguine with creamy, garlic prawns. Lamb knuckle curry.
My cooking tragedies
Burnt brulee. Reduced fat version of mussels in creamy garlic sauce.

Slow Cooker Pork Chops II
Extremely tender! My brother said that we could do away with our knives :-) I didn't have poultry seasoning, so i substituted it with brown onion soup mix. We're having the leftovers tonight and this time I'll team it with spicy brown rice. Thanks for a gr8 recipe!

Barbeque Pork Two Ways
I loved this recipe! I used 6 pork neck steaks. Did it overnight in the slow cooker and had to really curb myself from eating an entire steak this morning at 6am! thanks for sharing. Can't wait till dinner tonight.

The Best Steak Marinade
I wouldn't change a THING, except to omit the salt as I feel the soya lends the perfect amount of salt to this marinade. I used it on some beautiful rib eye steaks which I was saving for a special occasion, and this marinade did the meat justice! Tx for a fab, fab, FAB recipe.
