I'm a self taught baker who recently realized she tends to over bake. Chocolate chip cookies (on rainy days); rice pudding; scones with lemon curd; short bread cookies of all varieties... Homemade macaroni and cheese; Spaghetti Sundays; Funeral Potatoes (a Utah tradition); I catered afternoon tea for 25 people at an art market - a lot of work, but a fabulous experience all around. Recently I tried to make cream puffs from a recipe I know is good, but, alas, they failed to puff. On the positive (albeit weird) side, pate a choux can make wonderful cookies.
