I love to cook desserts! Or maybe I just really like to eat them! I love Christmas time and having days spent in the kitchen. All the family comes in town from all over the country and we spend it around the table together. Having my whole family over for Christmas. I am the baby of the family (even though I'm already 28), and so it was a big deal to have everyone over and it not be a flop! I fed 32 people and everyone ate til they were stuffed and happy. Success! Worst experience involved my 8 yr old and I attempting to make my grandma's buttermilk pie. Needless to say we were distracted and forgot to add the buttermilk, then to top it off when I was pulling it out of the oven I lost my grip and flipped it upside down on the oven door. Big gloppy mess on the floor and door and down in the oven drawer! But on the bright side my two dogs were very happy and it is something my son will never forget! We ended up laughing til we cried and we bonded, so what more could I ask for??
