Needed to use up green peppers and wanted to use beef, since we were "turkeyed out" from Thanksgiving. I used the ingredient search and thought this sounded interesting. Used fresh garlic since I didn't have garlic powder and fresh tomatoes because I didn't have a can of stewed tomatoes. Having never tasted pepper steak, I don't know how it is supposed to taste, but this was delicious over rice. Our company went for thirds AND fourths, so I don't think they were just saying it was good to be polite! Ha! Ha! Thanks for an easy recipe with a great result!

Living in China, it is impossible to find the old stand-by canned tomato soup. When the cold weather hit, I was wanting my tomato soup... so it was allrecipes.com to the rescue! Mmm! Mmm! GOOD!! This was delicious! Only problem... it was gone too quickly! Will definitely double or triple the recipe next time! Thanks!!!

Trying to use up some lemons I was given, I remembered having a lemon soup at a Greek restaurant that I liked. Was pleasantly surprised when this tasted just like it! The only thing I beg to differ with is the "16 servings"... because of the great taste, this recipe only served about 6 because of my Chinese "kids" who love to eat "American" food! It was all gone before I knew it! They actually think I am a good cook... Ha!Ha! (Thanks allrecipes.com!) So much for leftovers! Sad because I didn't get seconds but happy because it was such a hit!
