Chewy Granola Bars

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2009
I used rice krispies for some of the oatmeal. Didn't need as much choco. chips. Press them down before and after baking. They didn't crumble and were very chewy. Everyone liked!!

I cut the biscuits with kitchen shears and omitted the pecans because of nut allergies. I used only one can and cut in half the rest. Shake small pieces in bag. Very good.

Quick and Easy Grilled Potatoes

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2009
These are the best!! Okay, so my kids don't like the skins but I love them so much that I make them anyway and peel the skins off after for the kids. I'm gonna try taking them camping, I'm thinking cooking in the microwave beforehand??? THESE ARE GREAT!!!

Hamburgers by Eddie

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2009
These hamburgers are great!! I was searching for a good burger recipe because my kids will eat fast food burgers but not ones I'd cook at home! (very frustrating!) They both will eat these burgers, the only thing I do differently is garlic powder instead of minced.

This was easy and super delish!! I used crushed corn flakes instead of bread crumbs - gave it a little more crunch!! The whole family loved it!

Healthy Banana Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2009
Very easy. Used raisins instead of dates and applesauce instead of oil. Added about 1/2 cup of mini choco chips. very chewy - kinda like oatmeal. I also want to try these with apples! Update - nobody ate them except my 1 year old!! Maybe with apples or something. Still 3 stars becuz it is so nutritious and I thought they were ok.

Sour Cream Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2009
This is great!! Even the kids ate it. I used canned tomatoes, drained and dried basil. I used thin pork chops and it still took almost a hour for the chops to get tender and the mushrooms to cook. Served it over rice, Very good! I've made it twice and will make it again!

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2009
was very much like store bought rotisserie! I used 6 thighs with skin and bone. cooked at 350 for 1 1/2 hours. The spice was WAY TOO MUCH - I omitted onion and white pepper but used 1 tsp of cayenne and black pepper and garlic powder - too much. Next time I'll follow the recipe for the spices I have and just omit ones I don't have!!

Grilled Pizza Wraps

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2009
Very good. I added olives and sauted mushroom and green peppers. Didn't use margerine, just sprayed. The pepperoni caused them to be a little greasy. Maybe precook the pepperoni even though I used the hormel pre sliced pepperoni.

This was very good - the best make ahead breakfast casserole I've had. I did reverse the order of the eggs and toast and only used 1 1/2 cups milk.
