Me and my wife, Nancy
About this Cook
I'm 34 years old living in West Texas with my beautiful wife, Nancy. We love to cook new foods and have started to cook healthy, delicious foods to compliment our exercise routines. We both love Asian cuisine and anything southern BBQ. I learned most of my cooking from my mom or from working at dining restaurants when I was younger.
My favorite things to cook
Barbecue steaks (ribeye, sirloin), Korean foods and appetizers.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Mostly Korean cuisine because of my mother. Otherwise, it's good old fashioned Texas barbeque.
My cooking tragedies
I had a gas grill blow up in my face when I tried to light it. I now use charcoal grills only.

Bulgogi (Korean Barbecued Beef)
This recipe was about 99% the same as my mother's bulgogi. It was delicious and very easy to make. I'm 1/2 Korean and was raised eating authentic Korean food from my mother so I have a picky taste for authentic vs. others. Me and my wife loved this and will definitely be making it again.

Taco Salad III
Very good although I'm new to this site and didn't know that you could adjust the serving size. I made this for me and my wife last night and it made a LOT of salad before I realized it was 8 servings. Otherwise, very filling and doesn't leave you feeling "fat". I had 2 helpings :)
