This is really good! I also added a carrot (boiled with brown sugar) to give it some more flavour and colour. I also added a pinch of ginger along with the nutmeg. Five stars! Thanks a mil :)

Blender Hollandaise Sauce

Reviewed: May 18, 2009
It was a little bland, so I added dill seed and tarragon to bring the flavour up. Otherwise, quite good - thanks!

Scottish Shortbread III

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
Very good! Like other reviewers, I cut back on the flour and added a little vanilla. I also drizzled melted chocolate on top of the baked shortbread. I took this to a party, and they were promptly devoured!!!!!!

Great recipe! I had never made mincemeat tarts, but they turned out great for my first time! Thank you!

Dutch Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2008
I sauteed onions and mushrooms in bacon fat. I left the potatoes and carrots cubed, too. I then mixed all ingredients, placed in a pyrex dish, sprinkled cheese on top, and baked for 10 minutes. Very good dish!

Mashed Potatoes with Fried Mushroom, Bacon, and Onion

Instead of Ranch dressing, I added sour creme and a little "Mrs. Dash." Turned out great! This will certainly be a staple around my house!

Chicken Breasts With Herb Basting Sauce

Excellent!!! I added 2 tbs. of lemon juice, and a pinch of tarragon. I BBQed, and micro-waved the marinade, and used that as my baste. Very juicy, and tender!

Broccoli Cheese Bake

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2008
Loved it! Made some changes, though: I didn't have Swiss cheese on hand, so I substituted with equal parts cheddar and mozzarella. I also beat the eggs in with the milk, and added altogether. (I also added almond slivers). Then, when it was done, before adding the broccoli, I added 1/2 cup of Feta cheese to compensate for the sharpness of the Swiss cheese. Very good!

Pork Chops 'n' Pierogies

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2008
Wow! Very good! Like Jessica, I also sauteed the perogies in olive oil (with a little marjoram), and used apple cider vinegar. I didn't have an apple on hand, so I used a peach- very tasty! (I can see being able to use a can of pineapple tib-bits, as well).

Grilled Lemon Herb Pork Chops

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
Excellent recipe! The lemon juice, garlic, and oregano blended so subtly and perfectly. I also like the hint be a fellow rater about "pressing" the dish every half hour, while it was marinating in the fridge. I used boneless pork-chops, and they melted in my mouth! I also microwaved the remaining marinade, then basted when on the BBQ.
