Satiny Chocolate Glaze

Wonderful! I made this as a light glaze for over my Pumpkin Gingerbread-so delicious! (I will confess, I did omit the vanilla though) Thank you for this keeper!

Pumpkin Gingerbread

AMAZING! I made two regular sized loaves, and a smaller "test" loaf..the smaller one was done faster (which was my plan) and so I got to try it while the other two were still baking. OH MY GOODNESS! It's amazing! When I was mixing it, I did add a bit more cinnamon, cloves and allspice, a tiny bit more ginger. Everything else I kept the same. For my test loaf, its amazing as is, better with a bit of butter, and superb with a chocolate glaze! (search chocolate glaze here on the site, highest rating, omit the vanilla) This will be a fantastic breakfast bread, with the chocolate it'll be a lovely dessert bread! Thank you for this keeper!

Sugar Cookie Icing

AMAZING!! I've done this recipe now for both a family reunion, and our harvest party, and will be doing it again for Thanksgiving. I got rave reviews from my family. Made it by the recipe, with the accident of spilling the almond extract...I think I had maybe a full teaspoon or more go in... But it turned out SOO good just the same! Family LOVED it! (and as long as you're using more than one color frosting per cookie, if one of the frostings is over-almond-ed, it doesn't matter) My husband and I had a blast painting our cookies! This is a new family classic. THANK YOU!!!

Cream Cheese Cookie Cups

Most amazing! I actually used only 2 cups of the sugar-but that's because I ran out of it. Even without that extra bit, my husband was raving about these. I used my homemade cookie dough, filled them, and topped them with mini chocolate chips. You have to have a glass of milk to go with these! I'm going to try these out again with peanut butter dough, and then I want to try them again with the regular choc. chip cookie dough, but top them with the raspberry/chocolate swirl chips I have. That you for this amazing recipe!!

Sweet Potato Casserole I

Pumpkin Cheesecake II

This was amazing!! I made it for the first time for a dress rehearsal I was catering for. I wasn't expecting it to be gobbled up so much! (I had to sneak a tiny slice out for my husband to try) He loved it! We're going to break tradition for Thanksgiving and have a pumpkin cheesecake. I made the whipped cream for it too-YUMMY!!!

Ultimate Twice Baked Potatoes

We really liked these. The only problem is the way to easily scrap out the skins to make the fillig. But really wasn't all that hard, it just wasn't as lovely as it could have been. But still, SO GOOD!

Slow Cooker Cranberry Pork

So wonderful! My husband doesn't love cranberry, but he loved the pork. It was so tender and juicy, it just fell apart into lovely pieces. I served it with rice and green beans, and it was requested for another day as well. Wonderful recipe! Total keeper.

Sugar Coated Pecans

I added one more egg and a bit more vanilla, and they were fantabulous! My husband wouldn't stop eating them-until I hid them. My mother, who does not at all enjoy pecans liked them. (and I don't like pecans, but the recipe looked interesting) I love making them, and I love eating them!

Pecan-Crusted Pork with Pumpkin Butter

It didn't look all that pretty at first, but one bite and my husband and I were hooked. I made the pumpkin butter (I was skeptical at first) and it just made the entire meal AMAZING! I do believe that was the first recipe my husband has made multiple and many compliments on. (ie, he raved for the first time ever) Wonderful!
