I am a stay at home mom who really enjoys being a homemaker. I was an elementary school teacher, but now am a full time stay at home mom and wife. I love to bake breads, casseroles, cookies, scones, pies and tons of other things! My family did not have cooking traditions as we usually ate from a box, but I have recently really began enjoying canning and cookie making with my daughter. The fact that I actually cook and am quite good at it is a triumph. The first time I ever made homemade baked beans for my husbands family, I boiled the beans dry and burned them to the bottom of the pan. Beans are a family tradition and that was the first year they had a fourth of July without beans.
