Pumpkin Cream Pie

I really liked this pie. I did the following to prevent it from being runny: - Reduced milk to one cup - Half can of condensed milk - One small packet of Knox gelatin dissolved in 1 cup of hot water To make it more flavorful, I added two tablespoons of pumpkin pie spice mix. I used a graham pie crust and refrigerated it overnight. It held its shape even after zapping in the microwave!

Baked Kale Chips

This is very good. I sprayed the leaves with Pam (cooking spray) and sprinkled garlic salt and pepper. I put it in the oven for 10 minutes. It was nice and crispy. I'll definitely make it again. Besides, it's so easy to make.

The Best Lemon Bars

These are quite good! Per other reviewers' suggestions, I added 1/3 cup flour to the filling. I also added 3/4 cup of lime juice. It was the right amount of lemon flavor. I think I'll make it again.

Garlic Butter Sauce II

I thought this was really good. Per others' suggestions, I added one and a half cup milk and 1 tablespoon of flour. Also added salt and pepper. It was restaurant quality. I was impressed. I'll definitely make this again.

'So This Is What Heaven Tastes Like!' Cream Cheese Bars

This was better than I expected. I followed the recipe except I didn't add the chocolate chips and cherries. I added walnuts and dried cranberries because that's what I had on hand. I think the baking time of 25 minutes is good. I baked it for 30 minutes and it was very slightly overdone. The next time I make this, I'll keep it for just 25 minutes.

Candy Crunch Pudding Pie

This is excellent! I followed the recipe exactly. The only thing I did differently was to use a chocolate crust instead of the oreo crust (just a personal preference). I made it for a party yesterday and it was almost all gone. People loved the candy pieces. It didn't quite hold its shape as much as I thought it would, but that was not too big a deal. It was really good!

Easy Lemon Bars

I'm not sure what I did wrong but when I combined the cake mix with the egg and oil, it became a paste instead of being crumbly. I followed the directions carefully. Not sure if the brand of cake mix makes a difference. The taste was fine for the base and filling but the consistency was just not right.

Easy Lemon Bars for Junior Chefs

This was easy to make and taste was ok, but frankly I didn't like the texture. It was too spongy and rubbery for me. Also, it could be a function of the brand of cake mix I used but after baking, it became a misshapen mass that didn't look too appealing.

Orange Cream Cake III

This was very good. I used a yellow cake and strawberry jello. I didn't use the entire jello, and it was just fine. Also, for the topping, I didn't use the entire topping. I think I used about three-fourths and it was right. If I had used the whole thing, it may have made it too sweet. I decorated each slice with strawberries. Guests loved it.

Key Lime Pie VII

This was really good! Per other reviews, I added two 14 oz cans of condensed milk and baked for 10 minutes. I really liked the consistency. The next time I think I'll increase the amount of grated lime (just a personal preference).

Mango Custard Pie

This was good. I didn't use a crust (personal preference) and I used 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg because I didn't want the cinnamon to be too overpowering. I found that it didn't set in 30 minutes. It's probably my fault because I used mango pulp from a can. Maybe pulp is thinner than puree. Not sure. I had to keep mine in the oven for close to 50 minutes. I ate it the next day, and I was impressed. I think I'll make this again.

Pineapple and Pistachio Pudding

This was excellent! Instead of crushed pineapple, I added pineapple tidbits (just a personal preference). I love pineapple, so I think the next time I make this, I will add more pineapple chunks.

Easy Cheesecake Pie

I really liked this pie. I used a store-bought graham cracker crust. I also added one teaspoon of amaretto liqueur. : ) Nice flavor. Topped with cherries, it looked visually appealing. It didn't quite have the texture of regular cheesecake. Wonder if the cream cheese needs to be increased? At any rate, it's quick and convenient - which works for me being a full time working woman. I took it to a potluck last night and it was all gone.

Chicken Salad Wraps

I spiced this up by lightly frying red onions, adding chopped red bell peppers, and some spice powder. I also added peppercorn ranch and some alfalfa sprouts to the wrap. It's a good basic recipe but I feel it's something you can modify and make your own.

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake VII

This is a great recipe! I didn't have a cast iron skillet so I used the regular 9x13 pan. I also used the Duncan Hines pineapple cake mix. It came out looking so good. I thought it was too pretty to eat! I will definitely make this again.

Easy Peach Cobbler II

This was really good! I made some modificaitons per others' recommendations. I added 1/3 white sugar and 2/3 brown sugar. I also added 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg, a dash of cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla. I added some pecans too. I'll definitely make this again.

Super Duper Easy Apple Cake

This was pretty good. As per other reviewers' suggestions, I added nutmeg and cinnamon. I didn't have yellow cake mix, so I used Duncan Heinz butter cake mix. It came out very moist. I think it will be very nice with walnuts too.

Crustless Spinach Quiche

Very good recipe. It definitely needs to be spiced up. I added carmelized half red onion, chili powder, curry powder, and salt. I also added chopped bell peppers. I reduced the number of eggs to three and used two cups of sharp cheddar cheese (instead of the recommended three cups). I took the liberty of adding some sour cream which gave it a really nice flavor. Had to keep it in the oven slightly longer (at least 35 minutes). Overall, good for breakfast or brunch!

Crispy Baked Chicken

My husband and I absolutely loved this recipe! The other reviewers are right. This does taste better than KFC! We spiced it up a little - added some chili powder and pepper. Definitely a keeper!
