About this Cook
I am a complex pot of soup with tons of herbs and spices. Married for over 27 years with two grown children and tons of work staring me in the face. Even with a glazed look in my eyes, the work wins. I enjoy being a nut and goof ball, dispite that it might annoye a few. Life is to short for serious! I love to travel, garden, and cook. Dishes are a chore! I get suck with them anyway. Laughing my way thru life.
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook anything and everything. I dont eat meat, so I dont enjoy cooking it much. Soups are my favorite! So even if they take my teeth away, I think I am pretty safe. I have two grown children who I still enjoy cooking for. My sons loves anything and my daughter is passionate about Macaroni and Cheese (yes I have a top secret recipe) and Chocolate covered strawberries.
My favorite family cooking traditions
We host the Family Thanksgiving every year. After 10 years its a piece of cake. I try to get new recipes to add to our regular traditional dishes.
My cooking triumphs
When I was hired by Trump towers to cook the Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Dinner.
My cooking tragedies
Starting a fire in my BF oven, when he was sleeping.

Cocoa Oatmeal Cookies
Really delicious cookies. I tripled the batch and froze 2/3's of it. Also I added walnuts and used Dark Cocoa. The cookies came out better when I made them bigger. Just soft enough. This is a keeper recipe. YUM!

Southern California Cioppino
Thanks for the recipe Becky. I have always wanted to make a Cioppino for my husband. We had family over and the Cioppino was a hit.
