I am only 20 years old but I am working on getting a business license and getting a loan to buy my very own bakery. I picked up my cake decorating and baking skills when i was about 8 years old baking with my mother and grandmother, they had no idea I could do it. I know they say that 8 year olds shouldn't be using the oven but it was a different story with me. I have made many Birthday, Anniversary Baby showers and plenty of wedding and grooms cakes. My business is still out of home but it has really picked up in the past year. I really enjoy what i do and my husband loves eating all the new things I have tried. I love making Cakes, that is my number one favorite! I also love making cookies and decorating those. But cakes are just so much more fun because of all the time and work you have to put into them. It feels so good to be making something for someone and they smile and say OH MY GOSH this is so good Sammantha! That is the best part! All I can remember since I was little is my mom making spritz cookies every December and letting my brothers, sister, and I frost them. The other kid's would make one eat one make one eat one and then be on their way. But i would steal the piping bag from my mom and make gorgeous cookies and sit them all out on a plate for our friends and family that came over. I just always loved baking and decorating!
