Not even completed with baking the batch, and my husband just sat down with his glass of milk and said, "I don't know how you do it, but these top my mothers!" BIG COMPLIMENT, AND HE SHOWED ME THE CENTER BEING JUST PERFECT! NICE AND CHEWY, BUT NOT DOUGH LIKE!! LOOK SO NICE AND SHINY ON TOP LIKE A PRO! BEAUTIFUL! now my #1 go to choc.cookie recipe, for always!!!!

When you make something and your husbands first words are "OH MY GOD"! It is a tremendous compliment to me since I am usually over the top on all my meals. I've made cordon bleu many times, not with THIS SAUCE!! I only altered adding mushrooms and onions shortly before covering and removing the chicken. I also added a touch of extra seasoning to the flour mixture. Did use Chardonnay. HE JUST LOVED IT AND I JUST LOVE COOKING AN AWESOME MEAL FOR HIM, SO THANK YOU FOR THE NEW SAUCE RECIPE!! The chicken is the same to what I've been doing for years. ANOTHER HINT : WHEN YOUR HUSBAND TELLS YOU TO MAKE SURE YOU KEEP THAT RECIPE, YOU KNOW IT'S GOOD!

As of late, after all I've baked for my husband (Trust me, it's alot!!) now all of a sudden he thinks these are his ALL TIME FAVORITES!! Creamy, addictive, like candy bars, and he claims even better coming from the freezer! So you know now they freeze well too! Make sure you plan the way you'd like to top it with chocolate. Presentation is also important. I drizzled one way with the chocolate, then crossed over the other way! Pretty for chocolate! Thank you for your recipe!
