It was pretty good. Although I felt that it was missing something that would give it a kick...

Fried Rice Restaurant Style

I used brown rice and added snow peas (added wonderful, natural sweetness), bean sprouts and cilantro. It was tasty and easy to make! I would recommend this to any beginner cook - it would be very hard to mess up this recipe! :)

Simple Baked Apples

Reviewed: May 4, 2009
I like to think of this recipe as apple pie without the crust. It is very good and easy to make! I added vanilla to fat free milk before I poured it over the apple mixture. I also added brown sugar and a few dollops of butter on the top of the apples before I covered it and baked it for 50 minutes. For the last 10 minutes, I uncovered the pan so it could crisp a little bit.

Baked Ziti II

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2009
I altered the recipe quite a bit. I used one cup of shredded, low fat mozzarella cheese, one-eighth a cup of cream to the spaghetti sauce, one-quarter cup asiago cheese, one medium onion diced, and a 14 oz can of artichokes. I made it for 6 people and every body loved it and asked for the recipe!

Spinach and Feta Pita Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2009
The original recipe was a great base to start with. I made several variations, however. I first sateed 3 cloves garlic, 1 onion, salt, pepper, parsley and basil for a few minutes in olive oil. Then, I added 1 can of artichoke hearts, spinach, and diced tomato. I sateed all of that for about 5 minutes. While waiting for that to finish up, I glazed the tops of my pita bread with a sun dried tomato "pesto" that I bought at my local grocery store. It was in a jar and could be used as a dip or for other things that require a kick of goodness. I dusted the tops of the pitas with feta cheese and then put my veggie satee mixture on top of the pita breads. I put them in the oven for 8 minutes and before serving, I put a table spoon of feta cheese on top! VERY GOOD!!!!!!

It was a fantastic recipe! I followed the recipe exactly the way it said to (except I used real unsalted butter) and they turned out fantastic! Very chewy and very flavorful! I would suggest this to all levels of bakers - it is very easy to make.

Hot Artichoke and Spinach Dip II

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2009
This recipe turned out very good! I did it kind of differently though. I mixed the artichokes, cream cheese, parmesean, and romano cheses into a food processor until very well mixed. Then I mixed in the shredded spinach leaves. I found it easier to dip when it was less chunky! I also added 3 cloves of garlic (I love garlic).

Vegetable Koftas

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2009
The recipe is a great base to start with. I found that I had to increase the liquid for the "gravy" because the original recipe came out like a paste. So, I added about 4 oz. of tomato sauce and increased the milk to 1 cup. I also added some white raisins to the "gravy" which really made it taste spectacular! As for the kofta balls, I first diced up 1 1/2 potatoes into small cubes and cooked them until soft in lot's of Indian spices (such as tumeric, masala...). Once the mashed potato mixture cooled, I beat one egg and rolled the potato balls into the egg and then I fried them. They didn't fall apart at all this way! It was very tasty made this way...

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 3, 2008
By far the best chocolate ship cookie recipe I have EVER had!!! I have been searching high and low for a chocolate chip cookie recipe like this. It is very important to stick to the recipe 100% - I also took the advice from one of the viewers that had worked at a bake shop who suggested adding 1/2 teaspoon cream of tarter. This doesn't affect the taste - it just adds a crackled effect to the top of the cookies so they look even more appealing! :) ENJOY!!!

WORSE RECIPE IN THE HISTORY OF COOKIES!!! If you want outstanding cookies, don't use this recipe. The pudding was over powering and they were too cakey and burned very easily. What a waste of ingredients and time!!! :(

Pretty good! I doubled the amount of onion and also added 3 fresh cloves of garlic (diced) while the tomato sauce simmered in addition to the crushed garlic that's called for in the recipe. I doubled the amount of veggies - I love using peas because they add such a light sweetness!
