I love to cook...but am terrible at it. Truthfully, my husband does most of the dinners for me and our son (toddler). I dream about the day I can put together a fantastic meal after a full day of work and have my husband not secretly think he can do it better. I love to put together a fresh meal from the farmers' market with fish or beef, fresh veggies and a savory potato. A lazy weekend breakfast. Very rarely the cooking gods bless me with a decent Mexican dish or pancake. Nearly every attempt I make. Last summer I made berries with fresh whipped cream...only I forgot to add sugar to the whipped cream before whipping. My guests: my in-laws. Sigh.
