When I make these they are gone in no time!! My only addition is a little black pepper to add a little heat. I love these and they make the house smell wonderful!!

Raspberry Coffee Cake

This was great! I have made this a couple of times & this is really flexible to substitutions. I like to add a little lemon extract to the icing when using raspberries and blueberries. I also tens to use a similar flavored yogurt of the fruit I'm using. It's so tasty!

Peach Angel Food Cake

This could be the best I've ever had. I used about 5 ripe fresh peaches sprinkled with about 1/3 sugar to make the juices flow. I ended up adding about 1/2 cup of water to the mix. Not too sweet & ultra light- just perfect!

Portuguese Chicken I

This was a great simple meal, but full of flavor! I did added an additional clove or two of garlic. My husband was impressed and went for seconds, which is huge praise! I bet this would be good with pork too.

Jo Jo's Favorite Banana Muffins

These are great! I did change a few things. I used 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour and 1/2 cup of quick oats in place of 1 cup of reg. flour. I also cut the butter in half and used a 6 oz. container of vanilla yogurt. For the sugar I used 1/2 white and 1/2 brown. Added a pinch of nutmeg and a sprinkle of brown sugar on the tops. Just trying to make it a bit healthier so I don't feel so bad handing one to my son.

These were awesome!! Got a ton of compliments and requests for the recipe. I did add some chocolate chips to 1/2 the batter for some variety. I'm going to try the cranberries as another reviewer suggested!

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

When my husband went for seconds I was shocked! Chicken Parm is a dish he uses to rate the level of a restaurant. He loved it. I used plain bread crumbs that I seasoned myself (garlic, basil, salt, pepper, touch of oregeno) and made my own sauce. Also used mozz, on top

White Chili with Ground Turkey

This was excellent. I added some extra beans and a bag of mixed cheese. I did need to play around with the spices a little. I followed the directions then added as I saw fit. Husband loved it after initially being lukewarm.

Apple Harvest Pound Cake with Caramel Glaze

Amazing!! I added extra apples, additional cinnamon, and apple sauce for 1/2 the oil. Just be sure not to over bake!! I've never have so many requests for the recipe.

Carrot Oatmeal Muffins

I followed many of the suggestions (applesauce for oil, increased cinnamon). I also added nutmeg, about 1/2 teaspoon and increased the carrots to 3 cups. To top then I made a quick glaze to drizzle. They a re wonderful and sooo moist!! This is a keeper.
