at a wedding, i go straight to the cake to see(critique)it. at the magazine rack i go straight for the wedding books to look at the cakes. at a restaurant, i find the dessert menu to see if i need to leave room. basically i love baking and trying new things! i live for baked goods! i have worked in two bakeries doing production. i also worked at a chocolatier with my best friend...it was exactly like that scene in i love lucy... also just got a job as an assistant pastry chef!!! bake to live, live to bake! i cook because i have to eat... we have family recipes for sugar cookies that everybody looks forward to every christmas. we also have an annual chocolate covered cherry party every november... everyone brings a jar of cherries and we all dip and decorate and drink wine! top that off with watching a christmas story and you are on your way to the holidays feeling festive! a three tiered wedding cake...see below (sigh) i made a three tiered wedding cake that was gorgeous! exactly like the photo the bride gave me... her mother was delivering the cake as the wedding was a bit of a drive and lets just say the cake never made it...
